The Anglesea Riding Club is a member of the Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV). We are a small club of under 30 members that focuses on creating a friendly, supporting and fun atmosphere for horse riders in and around the Anglesea area.
Our club has at least one rally each month, using a wide range of local and interstate instructors. We also organise clinics throughout the year. We focus mainly on dressage but also sometimes have show-jumping lessons, groundwork and natural horsemanship lessons, and sometimes trail rides too.
Our club grounds are nestled in a lovely quiet bush setting at the back of Anglesea with direct access to bush trails. The club grounds feature a gorgeous eco-friendly new clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor seating area with a view to the arena. The arena is 60 X 30 and is surrounded by yards under the shade of Eucalyptus trees. A water tank supplies water for horses, and each rally memebers usually bring sharing plates and nibblies as well as lunch for the instructor.
Member feedback and participation is highly valued by the club, which has a steering committee made up of volunteers.
